Help Delysia fund her startup business, Meow!
Born Mia Stephenson in the South Bronx, Delysia La Chatte “The Feline Fatale of Burlesque” is a NYC based performer. Her work includes; burlesque, choreography, visual art and fashion design. Delysia’s burlesque persona and style was created in the rehearsal spaces at her alma mater CCNY in 2010. “The Witching Hour Burlesque” a theatrical burlesque troupe featuring her closest friends from CCNY’s theater department, was founded. Delysia was the producer and co-choreographer for her troupe. Delysia took a break from producing “The Witching Hour Burlesque” to work within the close burlesque community of New York, which helped her to blossom into a more versatile performer and more knowledgeable producer of burlesque shows.
Today Delysia is the resident dancer and choreographer for the immersive theater company, Speakeasy Dollhouse. Delysia, choreographed and starred as Josephine Baker in Speakeasy Dollhouse: Ziegfield’s Midnight Frolic for eight months at the historic Times Square venue The Liberty Theater.
